I might have gotten even farther or at least to the same point with less pain if I had listened to my own advice ;)

In the beginning it’s worth experimenting and trying out different things until you have found something that works. Think about it as a laboratory as the path to product-market-fit. Focusing on experiments can be focus as long as you don’t do lots of other things at the same time (marketing, fundraising, hiring etc.).

After you’ve achieved product-market-fit it’s more about focusing on scaling and doing less experiments left and right. Think about this phase as a factory in contrast to the lab.
